**Responsibilities**

As our Vascular Access Nurse, you will be responsible for providing safe and effective vascular access care to patients. You will perform a variety of procedures, including peripheral intravenous (IV) catheter insertion, central venous catheter insertion, and US IV insertion.

+ Assess patient needs and determine appropriate vascular access devices

+ responsible for the insertion of PICC (peripherally inserted central catheters) and midlines

+ responsible for the coordination of services as related to PICC lines and all CVAD (Central Venous Access Devices)

+ Educate patients and families on vascular access care

+ Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care

**Qualifications**

Required:

+ Minimum five (5) years experience as an acute care RN

+ Registered Nurse (RN)license,

+ Basic Life Support (BLS)

+ Peripherally Inserted Central Catheters (PICC) Certification

+ ACLS Certification
