**About the Role:**
The **Vice President of Product Management** for Kinetic Business and Uniti Solutions is a dynamic leader responsible for steering the strategic direction of product initiatives and plays a critical role in driving the company’s success. This position involves overseeing the development of product strategies, roadmaps, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure the growth and success of Kinetic’s product portfolio. The VP will lead and mentor a team of product managers, ensuring that all services align with business goals and optimize the business customer experience.
**What You’ll Do:**
+ Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy that supports the company’s business objectives and market demands such as launching new product features or evolving existing products.
+ Define and communicate a strategic vision for web and e-commerce platforms, ensuring alignment with overall company goals.
+ Identify opportunities for growth and innovation within Networking, Security, and Unified Communications core Product domains.
+ Lead, mentor, and develop a team of product managers, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
+ Provide guidance and support in the creation of product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities.
+ Facilitate collaboration among product managers to drive cohesive and effective product development processes.
+ Work to develop robust business cases and product forecasts in an agile environment to ensure business stakeholders are engaged and have appropriate input for resource modeling, automation, and ultimately profitability.
+ Ensure product features and functionalities are of high quality, user-centric, and meet market demands as measured by adoption rates and satisfaction scores.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Operations, Marketing, Procurement, Legal and Sales, to align product strategies and lifecycle management.
+ Conduct market research to identify user needs, competitive products, emerging trends and threats in the market.
+ Evaluate and understand competitive landscape with respect to pricing, features, fees and charges as well as overall customer experience.
+ Utilize data-driven insights to inform product strategies and decision-making processes.
+ Ensure products adhere to compliance and security standards, especially regarding sensitive data.
+ Establish mechanisms for collecting user feedback such as surveys, focus groups, and user testing and monitoring product performance post-launch.
+ Drive continuous improvement initiatives based on user feedback and data analysis, partnering with the Business Intelligence and Data Science teams to develop robust and predictive analytics.
**Do You Have:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, Marketing, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
+ Extensive experience in product management within the networking and/or software industry, with a proven track record of successful product strategy execution.
+ Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and developing high-performing teams.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present to senior leadership and stakeholders.
+ In-depth knowledge of user experience (UX) design principles and agile development methodologies.
+ Analytical and data-driven approach to product management and decision-making.
+ Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and technological trends.
+ Commitment to continuous learning and professional development to stay updated with industry trends and best practices.
+ Minimum of 12 years of experience in product/project management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing web products in a media or marketing environment.
