Key Responsibilities
+ Lead the development and implementation of the EPR compliance strategy for BA India.
+ Ensure timely registration, reporting, and renewal of EPR obligations for all applicable product categories.
+ Establish and maintain systems for data collection, documentation, and regulatory submissions.
+ Monitor regulatory updates and ensure internal processes remain compliant.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure end-to-end EPR compliance.
+ Track and report EPR compliance status across all registered entities in the region.
+ Liaise with Producer Responsibility Organizations (PROs), recyclers, and government authorities.
+ Support internal and external audits related to EPR compliance.
+ Conduct training and awareness programs for internal stakeholders on EPR requirements.
+ Act as the regional point of contact for all HSE compliance matters.
+ In-depth knowledge of plastic waste EPR. E-waste EPR, Battery waste and New battery EPR.
+ In-depth knowledge of recycler EPR.
+ Well-versed with CTE and CTO approval process.
+ Well-versed with PCB NOC.
+ 100% compliance with EPR registration and reporting timelines.
+ Zero regulatory penalties or non-compliance notices.
+ Accurate and timely data submissions across all entities.
+ Strong stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration.
+ Continuous improvement in EPR compliance systems and processes.
**Basic Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in environmental science/environmental engineering, Sustainability, or similar
+ Minimum 10 years of experience in HSE, EPR regulatory compliance, sustainability roles.
+ Diploma in Industrial Safety from a recognized institute (preferred).
+ In-depth knowledge of Indian EPR regulations (Plastic Waste, E-Waste, Battery Waste Management Rules).
+ Proven experience working with regulatory bodies and cross-functional teams.
+ Strong project management, analytical, and communication skills.
+ Proficiency in both Hindi and English (written and verbal).
+ Strong command of Microsoft Office applications.
+ Knowledge of CPCB (pollution control board) Guidelines, EPR norms, and recycler certification processes.
**Preferred Skills:**
+ Experience with digital compliance platforms or tools.
+ Familiarity with sustainability reporting frameworks.
+ Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
