**Manufacturing Engineer**
We have an opportunity for a **Manufacturing Engineer** to join us at Honeywell, in Portsmouth, where you will be responsible for identifying opportunities and implementing solutions for improved production methods to gain capacity, cost and yield benefits whilst enhancing uptime, ensuring existing and new products are manufactured and tested using the best tools and techniques available, and providing leadership and vision for the internal operation of Portsmouth manufacturing engineering.
**This role is 100% on-site at our Portsmouth location.**

+ Develop processes which improve product quality as seen by the customer.
+ Develop processes which improve internal yields throughout the manufacturing process.
+ Promote HOS / Lean initiatives.
+ To develop reliable cost-effective processes for New Products on time to budget that meet forecast demand at planned cost to agreed quality standards.
+ Reduce direct and indirect costs within manufacturing.
+ Manufacturing/Process Engineering Degree or equivalent, or recognized time served apprenticeship.
+ Experience in process/ manufacturing engineering.
+ Direct experience of implementing 6/lean methodologies and techniques to promote a continuous improvements culture.
+ Extensive use of lean manufacture and six sigma tools to improve Quality, Delivery and Cost
+ Six Sigma green Belt certification.
