Are you ready to put your experience to work at Northrop Grumman? If so, our Defense Systems sector wants you to join our team as a **Principal** **Business Development Operations and Customer Engagement Analyst** for the **Weapons Integration and Mission Solutions (WIMS) Business Unit** .

You will report directly to the BU’s Director, Global Growth and Business Capture. You will be responsible for BU opportunity pipeline analysis, preparing for internal meetings and reviews, senior leader customer engagement planning and preparation, and supporting other data calls as required.

The preferred location for this role will be in **McLean, VA. Lake Charles, LA., or Warner Robins, GA., may also be considered.**

**Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:**

+ Pipeline Analysis:

+ Develop and maintain Salesforce dashboards, graphics, and opportunity data to communicate the state of the BU’s opportunity pipeline,

+ Conduct analysis of business opportunity pipeline as to health, resiliency, and forecasting future market opportunity

+ Assist in creation of presentations to senior leadership on health of business opportunities.

+ Prepare for internal meetings and reviews:

+ BU lead for Business Development contributions to internal reviews such as Monthly BU Reviews, Pipeline Reviews, and Growth Priority Reviews.

+ Customer Engagement Planning and Preparation:

+ Coordinate, integrate and synchronize division customer engagements in alignment with sector and corporate customer engagement process

+ Working closely with senior leaders of the Business Unit, coordinate senior leader customer engagement preparation to include meeting objectives, background, talking points, and logistical details.

+ Assist BU MS&S Director in planning trade show participation and sponsorship, customer engagements, logistics, and preparation.

+ Ensure BU customer engagements are captured in Salesforce with appropriate notes in accordance with NG policy.

+ Support division and sector teams in the design, construction and execution of customer analysis plans, strategic customer approach plans, and customer contact plans.

+ Manage and track the BU marketing, bid & proposal, and research and development budget (NCTA):

+ Support NCTA budget planning and track/status performance against plan.

NGSkills

**Basic Qualifications:**

+ A minimum of 9 yrs of program, operations, or business analysis related experience and a High School diploma. A Bachelor's degree with 5 or more years’ experience in program, operations, or business analysis will also be considered.

+ Strong Salesforce and Tableau skills—specifically with dashboard creation and Salesforce data analysis

+ Experience communicating clearly and succinctly salient details of complex subjects to a senior audience.

+ Ability to obtain and maintain a secret level security clearance

+ A high level of confidence, integrity and hands on approach to problem solving are required as well as the ability to interact with senior management and executives internal and external to the company.

+ Flexible and demonstrate strong judgment/decision-making skills, and political acumen.

+ A strong commitment and ability to work cooperatively in a team environment is paramount.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ Working knowledge of Defense Systems sector and WIMS BU portfolio and organization.

+ Experience in Business Development or government relations related role

+ Familiarity with investment budget and processes

Salary Range: $86,600.00 - $150,500.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
