Northrop Grumman Defense Systems looking for a **Project Manager.** This position is located in **Roy, UT** .
**What You'll Get To Do:**
Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
**Essential Responsibilities include:**
+ Support the Command & Launch Production Ops (ProdOps) Team with vertical and horizontal integration activities in Roy, Utah.
+ Serve as an integration function for the Command and Launch (ProdOps) team engaging in many ad hoc activities required to ensure streamlined cadence and execution.
+ Collaborate across all functions within the program to develop advanced concepts, techniques and requirements for new applications and tools
+ Coordinate schedules and provide Liaison assistance between the interfacing IPTs.
+ Serve as a project management expert, handling inquiries, developing action plans, and assisting with preparation and dissemination of communications.
+ Improve current processes and optimize organizational procedures for efficiency and productivity.
+ Prepare charts, briefings and metrics as needed to provide the Program with visualization material necessary to understand the health of the organization.
+ Acting with a sense of urgency and accountability; taking ownership of tasks and strategic direction.
+ Develop and build on relationships for increased efficiency and responsiveness of existing operations and help define new operational strategies by working with senior leaders and other executives on special projects

This position’s standard work schedule is 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer relocation assistance.
**Basic Qualifications:**
+ Project Manager: 2 years of relevant experience with a Bachelors Degree; 0 years with a Masters
+ Active DoD Secret Security Clearance or higher awarded or reviewed in the last 6 years.
+ U.S. Citizenship with Special Program Access (SAP).
+ Demonstrated knowledge of project management principles and execution of a large complex program.
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
+ Ability to lead a team
+ Experience with high level customer engagement
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ PMP certification
+ Experience in system development
+ Experience working within a multi-team environment
+ Experience with Engineering Procurement System and Capital/Gov't Hardware Control
+ Experience with schedule management, risk management and performance management
+ Experience facilitating Program Reviews
+ Experience as a Control Account Manager (CAM)
+ Experience with tableau and data analytics
+ • Experience with earned value management knowledge in a program management capacity
+ Experience with high level customer engagement
+ Experience with Agile Project Management
+ Experience with creating and monitoring test metrics
Salary Range: $63,800.00 - $95,800.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
