In the AA business Unit, the Advanced Power System (APS) Segment drives the business of NXP’s leading mixed-signal Safe power management products for automotive and industrial markets. Together with a worldwide design team, we develop application specific standard products which integrate high performance analog functions as well as digital logic in high voltage CMOS processes.

Your Responsibilities:

We are now looking for an IC Senior Analog Designer with advance expertise in High Speed DC-DC converter (POL) for our Advance Power System in Safe power management. You will be in charge of:

To work with Product definition to validate the design feasibility and to acknowledge the product specification
the design architecture with the right topology to meet the specification and business target (budget, cycle time, die-size).
Specifying the design detail specification (DTS) for traceability accordingly to V&V method and ISO26262 standard, under DOORS NG tool.
Developing the electrical schematic in various domains like advance power management, and more specifically in DC-DC converter High Power, High Frequency
Enabling the Design for Excellence in domain like Testability, Reliability, Manufacturing and also the robustness relevant for automotive market in area like transient pulses, ESD and EMC.
Creating the analogue and mixed-signal verification plan (PVT, Statistical, ESD/EMC, Thermal, Back-annotation, …) jointly with our Experts in these domains,
Following the physical layout backend activities based on your rule’s recommendation (matching, EM, current density, spacing, …),
Participating to the product validation and design debug at Lab
Preparing the different design revision until the full qualification completion

Your Team:

NXP APS / Safe Power management is well recognized as a modern R&D organization with a benchmarking ways of working. We are a diversified team with more than 20 designers, with high expertise, high energy, an open collaboration environment and eagerness for continuous improvement..

You will work closely with digital designers as well as definer, verification, test and validation engineers to support both pre-silicon and post-silicon activities. This is an opportunity for a skilled analogue engineer to take the next step into leadership or architecture

Your Profile:

15+ years of experience in IC development.
Strong expertise in analog design, mixed signal IC, including design for ESD & EMC robustness.
Proven experience with DC-DC converter High Power, High Frequency
Experience with cross functional teams and good communication skills to operate in a global environment with multiple partners in Europe and Asia.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and in writing.
Fluency in English language both oral and written.
Knowledge of the Cadence IC tools, modelling tools like Simplis, Matlab or System C.
in traceability requirements of the V-cycle (DOORS NG tool or equivalent)
