Business Line Description
Be an integral member of a highly experienced team in R&D that is responsible for developing SoC chips and IP (Intellectual Property) used in the design of advanced portable and computing products. The IP for which this team is responsible enables a product portfolio with billion USD in annual revenue.
We are part of Smart Front-end Interfaces, a Product-Line within NXP, developing products by directly interacting with the customers, with expertise in hardware and firmware, software engineering, including architecture, IP, and full SoC Design.
Job Summary:
Working closely with IP design and verification teams on planning and execution, to ensure the Soc and/or IP is delivered on time and with highest quality.
working in UVM/UVC Verification environment to do:
Checkerboard writing,
Assertion writing,
Test development,
Verilog models writing for analog IPs,
Simulation debugging,
Regression testing,
Script writing
Key Challenges:
The SoC and/or IP itself are challenging and of significant scope as it requires implementing challenging algorithms in hardware/silicon. It incorporates latest USB, SPMI, SPI, I2C specifications
The software-based use-cases require a well-thought-out verification
Cross functional aspects:
Interaction with architecture, Digital designers, Analog designers and software engineers
Work closely with SoC software and SoC integration and verification team.
Job Qualifications:
Currently pursuing or completed Bachelor's degree in electrical/computer/software engineering, Computer Science, or related education.
Currently pursuing a Master's program in related fields of Digital design, FPGA Emulation, or Digital Verification
Thorough knowledge and expertise in UVM/UVC
Knowledge of USB protocols would be an added value
Security/cryptography experience would be an asset
Scripts development experience.
Must work well in a team environment.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills.
