As a **Systems Engineer I** here at Honeywell, you will play a vital role in the design, implementation, and management of innovative systems and solutions that enhance safety and efficiency across various industries. You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and you’ll work out of our Kanata, ON location on a Hybrid work schedule.

**The Honeywell building is a controlled goods program environment. Candidates must be eligible for CGP and CSP security clearance.**
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Support the design and development of advanced systems, including hardware, software, and network components.
+ Assist in the execution of engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time and meet customer requirements.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to capture and manage system requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
+ Support integration of hardware and software components (qualification tests, software validation, etc.)
+ Assist with documentation, including requirements traceability, change requests, test plans, procedures and reports.
**YOU MUST HAVE**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering discipline.
+ Minimum 1 year of work experience or minimum of 6 months internship experience with systems engineering.
**WE VALUE**
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Good understanding of systems integration, implementation, and troubleshooting.
+ Basic understanding of RF, digital, communications or networking fundamentals.
+ Familiarity with relevant engineering tools and technologies, such as MATLAB, Simulink, DOORS, Phyton or C/C++.
+ Familiarity with product development lifecycle.
+ Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
