**PDS Defense, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineer 3 in Chandler, AZ.**

**Job Responsibilities:**

+ As a Digital Circuit Design Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and testing complex digital, mixed-signal, and analog circuit card assemblies for the aerospace environment.

+ Schematic entry (Cadence Capture CIS), Circuit Simulation (PSpice), Programmable logic design (VHDL) & verification (ModelSim/QuestaSim).

+ Hardware troubleshooting/software debugging (Assembly, C++, C#).

+ Helped develop the team and mentor other engineers/interns.

+ Writing specifications, user manuals, test plans, and other technical documents.

**Basic Hiring Criteria:**

+ Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields and 5+ years of related professional experience in digital design and related fields. US citizenship. Available to work on site in Chandler, AZ. Eligibility to obtain DoD secret clearance.

**Preferred qualifications:**

+ Digital logic design and simulation.

+ Analog design and simulation experience.

+ Fiber / SpaceFibre familiarity.

The typical base pay range for this role is between $145K - $182K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This Datacenter Engineering Senior Electrical Engineer position will fulfill an on-site role at a Microsoft datacenter campus supporting ongoing construction activities. This role will serve as a daily on-site presence to review progress and support quality design of multiple concurrent datacenter builds. The position will be responsible for monitoring progress for compliance with construction documents from initial stages through commissioning and work closely with the engineering, procurement, controls and construction teams. **Responsibilities**

+ Serve as the on-site electrical engineering and project management representative throughout construction of a multi-year datacenter campus development.

+ Perform regular site walks and site inspections to observe progress, review construction versus design intent, review all benchmarking to ensure standard and quality are met, and flag potential concerns for engineering review.

+ Facilitate and participate in a close working relationship with all Microsoft site personnel – attending construction-based quality and assurance meetings, attend schedule and milestone review sessions, close monitoring of overall project management, Electrical, and Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS) related risk items with the ArchitecturalEngineering (AE)subject matter experts (SMEs)

+ Assist in the development and monitoring of project budgets. Collect and code project cost documents and continually monitor and update the budget to reflect changes in work
