    **About the Role:**

    The Design Project Manager will be responsible for managing the design process from campus planning/basis of design stage through issuance of construction drawings. This includes building matrixed design teams from Google’s internal design and external design services partners/providers, facilitating the creation of a shared plan for the execution, and oversight of construction administration services provided by the external design team in support of construction activities.     **What You’ll Need:**

    + Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, or a related field

    + Professional licensure (PE, NCARB, RA, or equivalent) is strongly preferred

    + Prior experience with data center design and/or construction preferred. Examples of design and/or construction of acceptable non-data center projects: healthcare (hospitals), large commercial (high rise), laboratory, manufacturing facilities (fabs), high power (power plants)

    + Minimum 3 years of design project management experience is required

    + 7+ years of experience in design and/or construction project management is strongly preferred

    + Strong experience in understanding design principles and practices

    + Intermediate understanding of construction principles and practices

    + Experience managing and coordinating project teams

    + Experience in the preparation of project plans, specifications

    + Experience drafting scopes of work

    + Experience with government regulations, entitlements a plus
