    Ron Davis Racing Products currently has a full-time, in-house position available for a Solidworks detailer/drafter. You will be detailing one of kind products for our customers. When needed, you will work with the sales and production team to ensure the highest quality and best product that can be manufactured. This position is geared more towards those who have a fundamental understanding of Solidworks and are looking to grow their skills. This is not a project based position nor an engineering position but a draftsman position. In a typical day, you would complete approximately 2-5 jobs/drawings and the working environment is on the manufacturing/production floor.

    QUALIFIED CANDIDATES:

    - Have proficiency in Solidworks and used it regularly within the past year. A test will be scheduled.

    - Ability to work on site. Our projects are not compatible with remote work.

    - Must be detail-oriented and produce quality work.

    - Have a strong mechanical aptitude and experience with lay-out drawings sheet metal and mechanical parts/assemblies.

    - CMM experience a PLUS (if not, we will train)

    - OMAX Waterjet Programming Experience a PLUS (if not, we will train)

    - Manufacturing background a PLUS

    - Ability to generate required machine shop-ready detail part drawings from newly created and existing AutoCAD or SolidWorks 3D solid models.
