As part of **(SES)** Strategic Business Unit you will be part of a team that designs, engineers, integrates, operates and maintains electronic security services inclusive of intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, video surveillance, audio visual, it systems, perimeter defense and command and control systems for federal, local and commercial customers across high-growth markets.

    Responsibilities

    Executes various technical tasks and responsibilities within field operations. Performs on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of equipment and systems. Ensures the functionality and reliability of various technologies. Key duties include conducting site surveys, configuring hardware and software, testing systems for proper operation, and providing technical support to customers. Field Technicians must possess strong problem-solving skills, technical proficiency, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.

    + Utilizes and comprehends project Safety plan (JHA, AHA, PFW), enforcing adherence to M.C. Dean handbook and policies.

    + Analyzes and interprets complete M.C. Dean drawing packages to assess constructability, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

    + Verifies correct charges in timesheets on projects, executing installation and maintenance activities within planned durations.

    + Tracks and inventories tools, conducting consistent tool inspections and performing tool inventory at the end of each day for assigned tools and equipment.

    + Participates in10-minute daily ORM meetings, ensuring team compliance with safety requirements.

    + Participates in PITCO plan creation and build out, executing PITCO plan to include testing to verify high quality.

    + Installs system raceway, cabling, equipment racks, enclosures, panels, and all mounting hardware components, ensuring proper grounding and adherence to NEC standards. · Terminates, tests, and configures electronic devices, network and IT equipment.

    We are seeking dedicated and skilled Field Service Technicians at both entry and intermediate levels to join our dynamic team. The Technician I role focuses on developing foundational skills and assisting with equipment operations, while the Technician II role is geared towards independently managing equipment and performing diagnostics and repairs.

    Responsibilities

    + Assist with starting and moving equipment under supervision.

    + Identify and understand basic crushing equipment and its operation.

    + Follow verbal and written instructions accurately.

    + Demonstrate knowledge of safety procedures including PPE and LOTO.

    + Learn and apply basic electrical and hydraulic fundamentals.

    + Begin using diagnostic tools for systems.

    + Attend factory Service Application School.

    + Apply basic welding techniques.

    + Write clear and detailed service reports documenting repairs.

    + Independently set up and operate crushing and screening equipment.

    + Identify key components and understand system schematics (electrical and hydraulic).

    + Perform mid-level diagnostics and repairs with minimal assistance.

    + Fabricate and weld as needed.

    + Utilize diagnostic tools and software.

    + Complete warranty repairs for equipment.

    + Communicate daily maintenance needs effectively with customers.

    Essential Skills

    + Ability to obtain basic hand tools within 180 days.

    + Willingness to learn and grow technical skills.

    + Solid understanding of component repair and rebuild processes.

    + Ability to read schematics and perform diagnostics with limited guidance.

    + Proven experience in equipment operation and maintenance.

    + Exposure to heavy industrial equipment/machines, ideally rock crushing equipment.

    + Experience with safety PPE and LOTO procedures.

    + Understanding of electric and hydraulics fundamentals.

    + Experience with diagnostic tooling procedures.

    + Experience with welding fundamentals.

    + Experience writing quality service reports with explanation and documentation of completed repairs.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + CLEAN driving record REQUIRED.

    + Understanding of safety PPE and LOTO procedures.

    + Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

    + Knowledge of types of crushing equipment.

    + Ability to start and move equipment with assistance.

    + Understanding of basic operation principles of crushing equipment.

    + Basic electric and hydraulics fundamentals.

    + Attendance at factory Service Application School.

    + Basic welding fundamentals.

    + Ability to effectively write quality service reports with explanation and documentation of completed repairs.

    Work Environment

    Work primarily occurs on job sites, requiring travel in CDL trucks and adaptability to hot environments. Flexibility in schedule and on-call availability are essential.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
